DNH leadership take our privacy obligations seriously and we are committed to ensuring all information is maintained in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Privacy Principles. DNH Medical has created this privacy policy to explain how we store, maintain, use and disclose personal information. By providing personal information to DNH Medical Pty Ltd (DNH Medical), you consent to our storage, maintenance, use and disclosing of personal information in accordance with this privacy policy. We may change this privacy policy from time to time by posting an updated copy on our website and we encourage our partners to check our website regularly to ensure that you are aware of our most current privacy policy.

2                   SCOPE

This policy applies to all DNH Medical customers who purchase goods using the company e-commerce platform (shop.dnhmedical.com.au) or visitors to our public website (dnhmedical.com.au).

3                   ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following roles and responsibilities are associated with this policy:

Commercial Manager
The Commercial Manager is responsible for updating this policy, for providing a security environment for storage of personal data, and for conducting internal compliance audits.

Operations Manager
The Operations Manager is responsible for implementing this policy and resolving any customer ordering issues relevant to this policy.

Customer Service Team Lead
The Customer Service Team Lead is responsible for responding to customer ordering enquiries/concerns and referring these to the Operations Manager if required.

Note: We do not have access to, or the ability to control, any credit card data. We do not have access to any payment pages. Customer payments are sent via the internet by a PCI DSS compliant third-party service provider who provide a payment page so that customers can complete their transactions.

We may collect personal information either directly from you, or from third parties, including where you:

  • Receive goods or services from us 

  • Submit any of our online sign up forms

The type of sensitive information we may collect includes professional associations or memberships including your APRA number (if you are a medical practitioner), health information, and DVA status (if you are a patient).

If you consent, your sensitive information may only be used and disclosed for purposes relating to providing you with our services and data analytics. Your sensitive information may also be used or disclosed to comply with our legal obligations.
